Roosevelt Neighborhood – Bellingham, WA
The Roosevelt neighborhood, still east of Interstate 5 but north of Puget is another diverse neighborhood with plenty of industrial parts, as well. Roosevelt is, in fact, the most populous neighborhood in the City of Bellingham. In this neighborhood, you will find quite a mix of real estate, including 100-year-old homes and modern apartment buildings.
Regardless of being the most lived in part of town, there is, of course, views of the Bellingham Bay from certain properties and plenty of nature to enjoy. The Railroad Trail is where plenty of local residents cycle and walk on the regular. Roosevelt Park is located on Verona Street and has barbecues, basketball courts, and playgrounds to enjoy. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellingham is also located on the park’s south side. The Bellingham Clubhouse has a game room, teen room, art room, tech lab, and gym! For some adult fun, you can find the Kulshan Brewing Co. at the Southwest corner of Roosevelt Park on Kentucky Street.
